Prevention & Mitigation

Avoid hazards and mitigate their potential impacts by reducing vulnerabilities and exposure and enhancing capacities of communities.

Preparedness

Establish strenghten capacities of communities to anticipate, cope, and recover from negative impacts of emergency occurence and disasters.

Response

Provide life preservation and meet the basic subsistence needs of affected population based on acceptable standards during or immediately after a disaster.

Restore and improve facilities, livelihood and living conditions and organizational capacities of affected commodities and reduced disaster risk in accordance with the "building back better" principle.

About MDRRMO

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRMO) of Tboli, South Cotabato is at the forefront of providing disaster prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and rehabilitation and recovery – the Four Thematic Areas of DRRM. MDRRMO shall be responsible for setting the direction, development, implementation and coordination of disaster risk management programs within their territorial jurisdiction.
